You have four minutes. Hard turns and rough driving damage cargo. A guardrail crash can cost up to 32% cargo; repeated crashes end the delivery. Your result depends on cargo condition and time left. Recovery returns you to the last checkpoint and costs 10% cargo. Drive carefully on gravel and brake before the depot.
